CURRENT VACANCIES 

 

1. Teacher

 

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lessons in English for children aged 4-14 from Young Engineers' established curricula

Coordinate Teaching Assistants to organise class efficiently

Collaborate with the teaching team to constantly share, reflect and improve on the overall teaching quality and team dynamics

Ensure good classroom management. Manage student behaviours for the purpose of providing a safe and optimal learning environment. Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage students' performance throughout the course 

Contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of Young Engineers' programs, teaching materials and related services

  • Experience, Skills and Qualifications 

Fluent English

Relevant Bachelor's degree. A degree or qualification in Education/Teaching would be an asset

Desirable: previous experience teaching STEM and teaching or working with children

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Good organisation skills with keen attention to detail

Honest, proactive and willing to learn

Great teamwork skills and able to work independently

 

Benefits

Competitive salary: to be discussed during interviews

Flexible work hours: specific days of teaching to be arranged upon the start of employment. Teachers will teach one class per day from 3 pm to 4 pm (This does not include travel time to and from Client Schools)

Commuting to Client Schools: transportation costs will be covered by the company if Employee travels with the team in a taxi from Young Engineers office

2. Teaching Assistant 

 

Responsibilities

Assist Teachers in planning and delivering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lessons in English for children aged 4-14 from Young Engineers' established curricula

Manage teaching tools and equipment  

Manage student behaviours

Collaborate with the Teaching team to improve the STEM lessons and the overall course

Be available for at least three afternoons per week, including Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday

 

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

University students, preferably in Year 2 or Year 3 

Good level of English, with a focus on speaking and listening skills 

Experience in teaching or working with children would be an asset

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Good organisation skills with keen attention to detail

Honest, proactive and willing to learn

Great teamwork skills and able to work independently

Flexible work hours: 1:30 pm - 5:45 pm during at least three afternoons per week (specific days to be arranged upon the start of employment)

3. Client Coordinator

 

Responsibilities

Approach and introduce Young Engineers programs to potential clients including international schools or educational organizations in Ho Chi Minh City;

Schedule meetings between clients and management. Negotiate and close deals with clients;

Build and maintain close relationships with clients. Provide assistance to clients in person, on email, or telephonically;

Act as a contact between clients and training team of Young Engineers to have efficiently classes. Assist training team when teaching at client schools;

Coordinate with clients and internal departments to find mutual solutions to problems. Handle issues appropriately until resolved;

Update the teaching situation at the schools for manager regularly;

Support all marketing efforts for Young Engineers, including maintaining, updating and distributing brochures, website, other social media…;

 

    • Requirements

Fresh Graduates with relevant Bachelor’s degree

Good command of English

Computer skills – must be proficient with Microsoft Office, basic Photoshop skills required

Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)

Good organizational skills with keen attention to detail

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Honest, proactive and willing to learn

Great teamwork skills and able to work independently
